Dear All

Some brief comments on work today.

Drawings and presentation need to be better organized. I would like to see more use of Grasshopper and animations (stop frame etc) using your site photographs and aerial photos as backdrops. Please get into the habit of turning sketches into properly drawn diagrams and illustrations. This means using Illustrator and vector graphics images. For indication of animation and diagraming quality look at the blog pages that Alex http://ade521gino.tumblr.com/and David http://ade521fall09.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/diagramming-lecture_ade-521-fall-09.pdf set up. Also please look at the display from Vis Com on the third floor in the atrium space wall of the main stairway.

Animation in Grasshopper

Please note that you can animate in Grasshopper if you are using a slider. Right click on the slider and it will give you an animate option. This will produce a sequence of JPEGS that you can put together as a short film.
